Partners

The Service List Registry Partner Programme provides a formal verification and interoperability validation framework for organisations implementing service discovery based on open standards.

The programme supports software developers, consumer electronics manufacturers, platform providers, and other ecosystem participants developing client software that interacts with the Service List Registry infrastructure.

Purpose

The Partner Programme is focused on practical implementation. It complements formal standards development processes without duplicating governance or specification functions, supporting reliable implementation of service discovery, reducing implementation risk, and promoting consistent and interoperable behaviour across the ecosystem.

The programme exists to:

  • Support reliable implementation of Service List Registry interfaces
  • Promote consistent and interoperable client behaviour across service lists
  • Provide structured validation scenarios for common implementation cases
  • Offer implementation guidance within the applicable standards framework

Benefits

Partner participation benefits include:

  • Access to designated test environments
  • Guidance on interoperability validation
  • Clarification of expected interface behaviour
  • Notification of relevant platform updates

Engagement within the Partner Programme is conducted under formal confidentiality arrangements.

Clarifications and implementation refinements identified through partner engagement may be incorporated into the Service List Registry platform, supporting consistent and interoperable behaviour across the wider ecosystem.

Participation

The Partner Programme is intended for organisations implementing service discovery based on open standards within consumer products, platforms, and applications.

Access to the Partner Programme is subscription-based and offered on fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory terms.

Participation in the Partner Programme is not required in order to access or integrate with the publicly available Service List Registry interfaces.

The Service List Registry operates under independent governance, separate from partner participation.

Organisations interested in participating in the Partner Programme are invited to contact the Service List Registry.
